- Spring term: Classes start in January; Applications are due in early December
- Summer term: Classes start in May; Applications are due in early April

Expectations
Postgraduate students applying to one of USD’s widely respected courses should expect a rigorous curriculum, independent research, critical thinking and a high level of accountability. Students should prepare for the following:
- Dedicate 15-18 hours per week on average to studying and completing assignments. This may vary by the student’s personal background and the content of the weekly syllabus.
- Complete work independently on their schedule supplementented by the resources available in the online classroom.
- Look externally to find supplemental information to help them complete assignments and understand course content.
ADMISSIONs requirements
- Must not be a resident of the U.S.
- Must be proficient in English.
- Must submit Aadhaar card or PAN card
- Must hold an undergraduate degree:
- 4-year undergraduate degree holders must have their degree issued from an accredited university (NAAC, UGC or AICTE) and earned a designation of Second Division or higher (45% or above).
- 3- year undergraduate degree holders must have their degree issued from a NAAC accredited university with a letter grade of A or higher and earned a designation of First Division (60% or above).
- Proof of English proficiency*
*Applicants are required to provide evidence of English language proficiency to be considered for admission and can prove eligibility as follows:
- Successful completion of an undergraduate degree with the medium of instruction in English. Evidence must be provided on the marksheet/transcript or student must provide a medium of instruction letter from the university.
- If the medium of instruction for the undergraduate degree is not English, student must submit evidence of completing an approved English language proficiency test. Score requirements listed below:

Upload your documents*:
- Final degree certificate - HSC, CBSE, ICSE, AISSC or any other standard XII certificate
- Marksheet(s)/Official transcripts from all accredited colleges or universities
- Aadhaar card or PAN card
- Proof of English proficiency if necessary

Make your first payment to hold your seat and set up your payment plan.
*In order to be fully admitted into USD, students must submit official documents through either a secure digital document system (like Digilocker) or by submitting the color, digital scan of a certified true copy of their original document(s). Students must follow their local guidelines in securing the certified true copies through their local government official. Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted for admission consideration. Provisional Certificates will not be accepted.
